Playing dress up
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This was my first Thanksgiving away from my family. I thought I would be sad about it, and I am—a little, but I’m excited about going home in two weeks!! I guess I’ve been trying to play ‘big girl’ all semester, and have lost track of how ‘not’ a big girl I am. I still am scared of storms and bugs and snakes—I still am crazy emotional, sometimes I don’t spend my money right or make wise decisions. I still sleep with a teddy bear every night and dream of romance. Yet, the world says I’m an adult. Wow.
